Ready to fulfill your dreams of becoming a firefighter? We're looking for like minded individuals who identify with our ideals and can carry out our mission statement in each and every interaction with citizens of our great community.
Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age by January 6, 2025

Must possess a high school diploma or GED by January 6, 2025

Must have a valid unrestricted Class D drivers license for at least 2 years as of January 6, 2025

Must complete the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) as offered by Tucson Fire October 1-5, 2024 OR obtain a current CPAT card earned on or after September 2, 2024
3 Step Application Process
Step 1: Apply with
City of Tucson by:
July 21, 2024 - 8:00 pm MT (Mandatory)
Step 2: Complete Testing and Video Interview with Public Safety Answers by:
July 28, 2024 - 8:00 pm MT (Mandatory)
Step 3: Attend Fire Interview Seminar Hosted by Tucson Fire Department
August 3, 2024 (Highly Recommended)
