Ready to fulfill your dreams of becoming a Firefighter? We're looking for like minded individuals who identify with our ideals and can carry out our mission statement in each and every interaction with citizens of our great community.

Minimum Qualifications

*Minimum qualifications are not due until time of job offer.  If you do not currently meet these minimum requirements you are still encouraged to apply​​​

​

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED

  • Must possess, or able to obtain by time of hire, a valid Arizona driver's license

  • Must possess Arizona Firefighter I and II certification or equivalent by time of hire

  • Must possess an Arizona Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic certifications by time of hire

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language​

*Preference points for veterans, active military, and paramedics

2-Step Application Process

Step 1: Must apply with Timber Mesa by
July 12, 2024 - 11:59pm 


Step 2: Must test with Public Safety Answers by
July 17, 2024 - 5:00pm
